Planning Your Walt Disney World Vacation

Today, many people want to share Disney’s dream by visiting the theme park that bears his name. In fact, Walt Disney World has become one of the most visited theme parks in the world. If you have children, you can expect that you will be asked to visit the famous attraction in Florida at some point.
Getting away to Walt Disney World offers something for the whole family, but most families will have to plan well ahead for their vacation. Visiting Walt Disney World can be expensive. Walt Disney World tickets are sold at several levels, and you need to select the right level for you. The basic Magic Your Way tickets allow you to visit one theme park per day for each day of the ticket. You can also pay extra for the Park Hopper option, which lets you to visit several theme parks on the same day and allows you to visit these parks as many times as you like. You can also pay for the Water Park Fun & More option, which allows you access to the water parks and other attractions. In addition to the cost of tickets, you will need to pay for parking as well, unless you are a Disney Vacation Club guest with a resort-issued parking ticket. You can also park for free at the water parks and at Downtown Disney.
If you are traveling from outside of Florida, you will want to consider transportation costs as well. You may wish to check months in advance to find flight deals and check for hotel deals online as well. You may wish to work out a budget for meals, entertainment, travel, and vacation costs. This will help ensure that you get to do everything you want while at the theme park.
In addition to budgeting financially, you may want to budget your time. You can spend weeks exploring Disney World and not see every attraction and ride. You might want to plan ahead and do a little bit of research to figure out where you want to spend your time so that you do not overlook an attraction that you really want to see. When considering time, consider lineups as well. The more popular rides can have long lines. You can avoid these by using a service called FastPass. This free service lets you put your park ticket into a machine in order to get a FastPass ticket with a time stamp. Once you have this in hand, you can enter the attraction with just a very short wait.
